GUINEVERE GAS FIELD (LICENSE BLOCK 48/17B) INSTALLATION DECOMMISSIONING PROGRAMME

Perenco UK Limited has submitted, for the consideration of the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, a draft Decommissioning Programme for the Guinevere Gas Field Normally Unattended Installation (NUI) in accordance with the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1998. It is a requirement of the Act that interested parties be consulted on such decommissioning proposals.

The items/facilities covered by the Decommissioning Programme are:

• Guinevere topside - a conventional carbon steel structure, which includes a cellar deck, mezzanine deck, and weather deck (incl. helideck and vent boom). Nine well slots of which two have been drilled.

• Guinevere jacket - a conventional four-legged carbon steel structure, 29.0m in height in 18.4m (reference to LAT) of water. Singular 48" tubular pile of approximately 85m overall length is installed through each leg (4 piles in total).

The Guinevere field is located in the Southern Basin of the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS), in license block 48/17b, approximately 60km north of the Bacton terminal and 56km east of the Theddlethorpe gas terminal on the Lincolnshire coast. The co-ordinates of the Guinevere Platform are: Latitude: 53° 24' 53" N, Longitude: 01° 16' 25" E.

Perenco UK Limited hereby gives notice that a hard copy of the Guinevere Installation Decommissioning Programme can be inspected during office hours (by appointment only) at the location detailed below.
