The Department of Health has made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021", (S.R. 2021 No. 18) which came into operation on 3 February 2021.

This Rule amends the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 so that the date that the Department of Health must review the need for restrictions and requirements imposed by the Regulation 3 of those regulations is changed to on or before 18 February 2021 and that the expiry date detailed in Regulation 15 of those regulations is changed to midnight on 5 March 2021.
