GREATER LONDON COUNCIL (GENERAL POWERS) ACT 1974

EXEMPTION TO FOOTWAY PARKING PROHIBITION

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge under section 15(4) of the Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 1974 have resolved on 21 June 2024 the consolidated Footway Parking Resolution (June 2024) that vehicles parked with one or more wheels on the verge or footway shall be exempt from section 15(1) of the said Act.

2. The effect of the resolution will be to:

(a) revoke any existing footway parking exemption in Hermon Hill, the south-east side, between a point 2 metres south-west of a point in line with the north-eastern kerb-line of Pelham Road and the northern kerb-line of Cranbourne Avenue.

(b) continue the footway parking exemptions previously approved in all other locations in the borough.

3. The resolution shall take effect from 19 August 2024.
