ABANDONMENT – DRUMNA WALK, LURGAN

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) being of the opinion that the road is no longer necessary proposes to make an Order under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, the effect of which would be to abandon two areas of superceded road at Drumna Walk, Lurgan. One area of 88 square metres commencing at a point 24 metres south-east of its junction with the Annesborough Road and a second area of 721 square metres commencing at a point 79 metres north-east of its junction with the Annesborough Road and extending for 121 metres in a north-easterly direction.

The areas of road proposed to be abandoned are delineated on a map, which together with a copy of a draft order, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period from 1 August 2024 to 10 September 2024 at Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon East Section Office, 18 Carn Industrial Estate, Portadown, Craigavon, BT63 5RH or viewed online at www.infrastructure-ni.gov.uk/consultations

Inspection of the draft Order is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the e-mail address below or by telephone during office hours (Mon to Fri 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) on 0300 200 7899.

Any person may, within the period above, object to the proposal by writing to DfI Roads at the address above or by emailing southernlandsteam@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds of the objection.
