Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited (a) has made an Order on the A20 and A2 Trunk Roads in the County of Kent, using powers conferred by Sections 1(1), 2(1) and 2(2) and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to better manage freight movements within the town of Dover during peak traffic demand, thereby reducing the risk of danger to the public from excessively queueing traffic.

The Order was made on 16th August 2024 and comes into force 1st September 2024.

The notice of proposal to make the Order (reference 4656608) was published in issue number 64450 of the London Gazette on 3rd July 2024 and the effect of the order is as described in that notice.
