PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10

THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (N0RTHERN IRELAND) REGULATIONS 2003

INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Francis Dinsmore Limited has applied to the Chief Inspector for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the Dying and Finishing of Textiles. The installation is located at Templemoyle Mills, 25 Greenfield Road, Kells in the Borough of Ballymena in the County of Antrim.

The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate the Francis Dinsmore Limited is held in registers at the following locations

The Industrial Pollution and Radiochemical Inspectorate, Calvert House, 23 Castle Place, Belfast BT1 1FY or

Waste &Contaminated Land Unit, Commonwealth House, 35 Castle Street, Belfast BT1 1GU

Ballymena Borough Council, 4 Wellington Court, Ballymena BT43 6EQ

Members of the public can inspect these registers free of charge at the above stated addresses during normal office hours.

In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the cost of copying.

Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Chief Inspector at the below, within 42 days from the date of this public notice.

Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them request in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been such a request.
