PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (NORTHERN IRELAND) REGULATIONS 2003

INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Dalkia Utilities Services PLC has applied to the Chief Inspector for Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate part of an installation involving, Steam raising equipment under Section 4 (1) and falls within the provisions of paragraphs 1(1) and 13 or paragraph 17.

The installation is located at Airport Road, Queen’s Island, Belfast, BT3 9DZ. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

A copy of the application is available for the public inspection free of charge between the hours of 09:30 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 15:30 at Environment and Heritage Service, Calvert House, 23 Castle Place, Belfast, BT1 1FY and Belfast City Council, City Hall, Belfast BT1 5GS

In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying.

Written representations about the application may be sent to the Chief Inspector of the Industrial Pollution & Radiochemical Inspectorate, Environment and Heritage Service, (address as above), within 42 days from the Date of publication. All representations will be placed on the public register unless a representation contains a written request to the contrary. If there is such a request, the register will only contain a statement that there has been such a request
