NOTICE OF APPLICATIONS FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974, that the following applications for consent to discharge sewage effluent to the Glade Burn have been made to SEPA by Scottish Water:

WPC/W/30751:	Up to 128 cubic metres per day at NGR NS 9782 3844 from Tank 1, Mill Place, Thankerton, Biggar.
WPC/W/30752:	Up to 128 cubic metres per day at NGR NS 9782 3844 from Tank 2, Mill Place, Thankerton, Biggar.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the applications should do so in writing to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, Glasgow G74 5PP, not later than 3rd January 2003 quoting the reference number.

Copies of the applications may be inspected free of charge at the above address at all reasonable hours.
