NOTICE OF APPLICATIONS FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (as amended), that the following applications for consent to discharge have been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) by Scottish Water:-

Combined Sewer Overflow, Colquhain Street, Helensburgh
Screened storm sewage effluent up to a maximum flow of 1,479 litres/second to the Clyde Estuary at National Grid Reference NS 2936 8207, NS 2944 8222 and NS 2928 8212 from Colquhain Street storm overflow, Helensburgh.
The application consists of a three pipe discharge system: a long permanent outfall, an existing outfall and a short temporary outfall. The proposals are to remove the existing and temporary outfalls once phase two of the Helensburgh sewerage scheme is complete.

Screened storm sewage effluent up to a maximum flow of 1,703 litres/second to the Clyde Estuary at National Grid References NS 2881 8227, NS 2882 8230 and NS 2885 8243 from Suffock Street combined sewer overflow, Helensburgh.
The application consists of a three pipe discharge system: a long permanent outfall, an existing outfall and a short temporary outfall. The proposals are to remove the existing and temporary outfalls once phase two of the Helensburgh sewerage scheme is complete.

Screened storm sewage effluent up to a maximum flow of 210 litres/second to the Clyde Estuary at National Grid References NS 2828 8244, NS 2832 8255 and NS 2831 8255 from Cairndhu Avenue combined sewer overflow, Helensburgh.
The application consists of a three pipe discharge system: a long permanent outfall, an existing outfall and a short temporary outfall. The proposals are to remove the existing and temporary outfalls once phase two of the Helensburgh sewerage scheme is complete.
Any person who wishes to make representations about any of the above applications should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride G74 5PP, not later than 4 March 2005, quoting the reference number.
