NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by The “108” Group for consent to discharge up to 12.8 m3 per day of treated sewage effluent to the Allt na Caerdaich at NGR NS 024 210 from a housing development at the Former Breadalbane Caravan Park, Kildonan, Isle of Arran.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, G74 5PP not later than 5 July 2005, quoting reference WPC/W/72613.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address during all reasonable working hours and by prior arrangement at the District Office, 31 Miller Road, Ayr, KA7 2AX (Tel 01292 294000). The application may also be inspected at the Council Offices, North Ayrshire Council, Shore Road, Lamlash, Isle of Arran.
