NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge 60 m3 per day of screened sewage effluent and storm sewage effluent only to a tributary of the River Teith at NGR NN 7260 0140 from Wood of Doune Pumping Station.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, 7 Whitefriars Crescent, Perth PH2 0PA not later than 26 August 2005 quoting reference WPC/E/72767.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address.
