NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that the following application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge 347 m3 per day of treated domestic sewage effluent to the River Tweed at NGR NT 6085 3145 from St Boswells Sewage Treatment Works.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, Clearwater House, Heriot Watt Research Park, Avenue North, Riccarton, Edinburgh EH14 4AP, not later than 31 January 2006, quoting reference WPC/E /78255.

A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the above address, between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (except local and national holidays).
