NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (as amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Trust Housing Association Ltd for consent to discharge 6.4 m3 per day of treated sewage effluent to Kilbranan Sound at NGR NR 8728 4474 from a housing development at Pirnmill, Isle of Arran.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, Glasgow G74 5PP, not later than 31 January 2006, quoting reference WPC/W/73286.

A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the above address, at SEPA, 31 Miller Road, Ayr and at the North Ayrshire Council office at Shore Road, Lamlash between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (except local and national holidays).
