The Barnet (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. ) Order 199

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.   The general nature and effect of the Order will be to amend the Barnet (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) Order 1997, so that additional or amended restrictions are placed on waiting by vehicles in the lengths of carriageway specified in the Schedule to this notice as part of the borough-wide waiting restriction review.   A copy of the original Order, the proposed Order, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s statement of reason for making the Order can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted) inclusive, until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at; Traffic Section, Room 1006, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ and The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG.   Futher information may be obtained by telephoning the London Borough of Barnet (Traffic Section), telephone numbers 0181-359 4330 or 0181-359 4333.   Any person desiring to object and/or make other representations relating to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof and quoting reference WWR/TMO/1 to the Director of Environmental Services (Traffic Section), London Borough of Barnet, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ, within the afore-mentioned period of 21 days. Schedule 1

Amended Waiting Restrictions

Location Restricted Hours
Arlington Road:
(a) both sides:
  (i) from its junction with Burleigh Gardens south-westwards for a distance of 10 metres; Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to midnight
  (ii) between a point 10 metres south-west of its junction with Burleigh Gardens and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 25 and 27 Arlington Road. Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Burleigh Gardens:
(a) both sides, from its junction with Chase Way south-eastwards for a distance of 10 metres. Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
(b) north-east side, between a point 10 metres south-east of its junction with Chase Way and the boundary of the London Borough of Enfield. Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
(c) south-west side, between a point 10 metres south-east of its junction with Chase Way and the boundary of the London Borough of Enfield. Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to midnight.
Chase Way:
(a) north-west side:
  (i) between the boundary of the London Borough of Enfield and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 36 and 38 Chase Way. Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  (ii) between a point opposite south-western flank wall of No. 48 Chase Way and a point opposite the north-eastern flank wall of No. 58 Chase Way. Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
(b) south-east side:
  (i) between the boundary of the London Borough of Enfield and a point opposite the common boundary of No. 2 Burleigh Gardens and No. 9 Chase Way; Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
  (ii) between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 23 and 25 Chase Way and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 31 and 33 Chase Way. Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.

New Waiting Restrictions

Location Restricted Hours
Ashurst Road, both sides, between its junction with Belmont Avenue and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 114 and 116 Ashurst Road. Monday to Friday 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
Belmont Avenue, both sides, between its junction with Mount Pleasant and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 86 and 88 Belmont Avenue. Monday to Friday 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
Cecil Road:
(a) both sides:
  (i) between a point 18 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Chase Way and a point 18 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Chase Way; Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
  (ii) from its junction with Arlington Road north-eastwards for a distance of 18 metres. Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Arlington Road:
(a) the north side, between a point 7 metres west of the common boundary of Nos. 18 b and 20 Mount Pleasant and a point 10 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Belmont Avenue. Monday to Friday 11 a.m. to 12 noon
(b) the south-side, between a point 8 metres east of the common boundary of Nos. 17 and 19 Mount Pleasant and a point 15 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Belmont Avenue. Monday to Friday 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
