TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under sections 249 and 333 (7) of the above Act to vary an Order made under section 249 of the above Act, entitled “The Extinguishment of Vehicular Rights (County of West Yorkshire) (Bradford No. 1) Order 1995”. He has amended Schedule 2 (1) of the Order by the addition of item (f) exempting a vehicle being used in accordance with a special authorisation for that use given by the local highway authority.   Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Director of Planning, Transport and Environment at the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber, PO Box 213, City House, New Station Street, Leeds LS1 4US, (quoting Ref. YHDOT W4705/41/39/3), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of the District Transportation and Highways Engineer, Bradford Metropolitan District Council, 1 City Road, Bradford.   Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 28th January 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.   The Departmental contact for any queries relating to this publication is J.
