LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
The Bromley (Parking Bays) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley hereinafter called the Council” proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and sections 64 to 81 inclusive and Schedules 6 and 7 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The effect of the Order would be to introduce a mandatory parking bay in Tintagel Road, Orpington, outside Quilter Gardens, for ambulances. The parking bay would operate between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays.   A copy of the proposed Order, of the plan of the scheme and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.   Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environmental Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH, quoting Ref. ADE(TP)/PAL/T100/255 not later than 27th March 1998.   Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this notice may be open to public inspection.
