The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 10) Order 1998 The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that, on the application of Lynda Bradley, he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 10) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of an area of highway land adjacent to the Hare and Hounds Public House, Grange Hill, Greenstead Green, Halstead, Essex, to enable development consisting of change of use of highway land to domestic to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Lynda Bradley by Braintree District Council on 8th May 1997 under Ref. 97/00407/COU.   Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for Eastern Region, (Planning and Transport), Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL (quoting Ref. GT/Z1510/35/1/29), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Braintree District Council, Causeway House, Braintree, Essex, and on the notice board for Greenstead Green Parish Council, situated on the village green, Greenstead Green.   Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 15th May 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
