THE COATED ELECTRODES PENSION SCHEME

Notice under Section 27, Trustee Act 1925

Geoff Edge and Kembrey Limited (formerly Kembrey Plc) as Trustees of the Coated Electrodes Pension Scheme give notice, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the above Scheme is to be wound up. If any person believes that he or she has an entitlement under the Scheme and that such claim might not have been taken into account, would he or she write with details (names, address and reason for claim) to: Mrs. S. L. Ellard, Company Secretary, Chemring Group PLC, 1645 Parkway, Whiteley, Fareham, Hampshire PO15 7AH.   Notice is not required for persons who have been notified by a Trustee of the Coated Electrodes Pension Scheme of the proposed winding-up of the Scheme. Any claim must be registered by 30th September 1988.   After the above date, the Scheme’s assets will be distributed in meeting valid claims and securing benefits for persons known to the Trustees to have entitlement under the Scheme. The Trustees will have no liability to any person claiming an entitlement after the above date which was not evident from their records.
