Notice under Section 38

Withdrawal of Support

This notice relates to the land within the parishes/communities of Allesley in the City of Coventry, Fillongley and Great Packington in the Borough of North Warwickshire and Meriden in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull in the County of Warwickshire indicated on the plan referenced RJB 38/008 which is deposited at the offices of R.J.B. Mining (UK) Ltd at Harworth Park, Blyth Road, Harworth, Doncaster DN11 8DB and at Daw Mill Colliery, Daw Mill Lane, Arley, Coventry, West Midlands CV7 8HS. The plans are available for inspection by appointment with S. T. Barnes (telephone 01302 755199) between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday to Friday, except public holidays.   R.J.B. Mining (UK) Ltd whose registered office is at Harworth Park, Blyth Road, Harworth, Doncaster DN11 8DB is authorised by a licence under Part II of the Coal Industry Act 1994 and has the approval of the Coal Authority for the giving of a notice relating to the land in question.   R.J.B. Mining (UK) Ltd hereby give notice that there are proposals to carry out coal mining operations which may require the exercise in relation to the land indicated on the plans referred to in paragraph 1 of this notice of such a right as is mentioned in section 38(1) of the Coal Industry Act 1994 namely to withdraw support from any land to which section 38 applies.
