NATIONAL PARKS AND ACCESS TO THE COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1949 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

DECLARATION OF HAFOD ELWY NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE, COMMUNITIES OF NANTGLYN AND CERRIGYDRUDION, COUNTIES: DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL AND CONWY COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

Notice is hereby given, in pursuance of section 19(1) of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and section 35(1)(b) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the Hafod Elwy No. 1 Declaration 1999 made on 14th October 1999, the Countryside Council for Wales declared that the land containing 80 hectares (197.68 acres) or thereabouts situated in the Communities at Nantglyn and Cerrigydrudion in the Counties of Denbighshire and Conwy shown edged red on the plan attached to the said Declaration has been acquired and is being held by the Council and that the said land is being managed as a National Nature Reserve. Certified copies of the said Declaration with plans attached have been deposited for public inspection at the offices of the Conwy County Borough Council and Denbighshire County Councils in Conwy and Ruthin respectively from Monday to Friday inclusive during the normal office hours. Certified copies may also be inspected at the offices of the Countryside Council for Wales, 56 High Street, Bala, Gwynedd LL23 7AB and Victoria House, Grosvenor Street, Mold, Flintshire CH7 1EJ from Monday to Friday inclusive during the normal office hours.
