THE PUBLIC HEALTH ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1967

The Department of Health has made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (Amendment No. 17) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020", (S.R. 2020 No. 234) which came into operation at 4.00 am on 1 November 2020.

This rule amends the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 (“the principal Regulations”) to amend the passenger information, in Schedule 1, which passengers arriving in Northern Ireland must provide, amend the entries relevant to visiting forces and offshore workers in Schedule 2, which specifies individuals who are exempt from the requirement to provide information or self-isolate, omit Cyprus and Lithuania from the list of countries and territories in Schedule 3 exempt from the requirement in regulation 4 of those Regulations to self-isolate for 14 days after arrival in Northern Ireland, amend the list of specified competitions in Schedule 4 which is relevant to the exemption from the requirement to self-isolate for elite sportspersons.
