The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs has made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Plant Health (Official Controls and Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020" (S.R. 2020 No. 293), which comes into operation on 23 December 2020.

This Statutory Rule revokes and replaces the Plant Health (Official Controls and Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2019 (S.R. 2019 No. 230) to remove unnecessary legislative references and to incorporate further EU Implementing Decisions subsequent to 14 December 2019. It also revokes regulations 6 and 7 of the Plant Health and Seeds (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2019 (S.R. 2019 No. 41).
