The Department of Health has made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (2021 Consolidation) (Amendment No. 7) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021", (S.R. 2021 No. 284) which came into operation at 04.00 am on 15 October 2021.

This rule amends the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021 by amending Regulation 9A to include seasonal poultry workers in the requirement to undertake workforce tests; amends Schedule 3 to remove requirement for the passenger's seat number to be recorded on the passenger locator form; amends Schedule 4 to fix a typographical error at paragraph 7(3), and introduces a new exemption for performing arts professionals who can claim an exemption from self-isolation while undertaking the exempt activity, and an exemption for seasonal poultry workers to cover specified poultry processing activities for the 2021 Christmas market.
