PALL MALL AND WATERLOO PLACE

THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (E ZONE) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be, in connection with the introduction of a local safety scheme, to:

(a) replace three diplomatic parking bays on the south-west side of Waterloo Place, outside Nos. 14 and 16, with three shared-use parking spaces (15 metres);

(b) extend the “Blue Badge” disabled persons’ parking bay on the north-east side of Waterloo Place, outside No. 6, south-eastward by 0.7 metres;

(c) relocate the diplomatic parking place (two bays) on the north-east side of Waterloo Place, outside No. 6, north-westward by 1 metre and extend it by 0.6 metres;

(d) replace two “Blue Badge” disabled persons’ parking bays on the south-west side of Waterloo Place, adjacent to No. 107 Pall Mall, with two pay-by-phone parking bays;

(e) replace a shared-use parking bay on the south-west side of Waterloo Place, adjacent to No. 107 Pall Mall, with a “Blue Badge” disabled persons’ parking bay;

(f) replace a “Blue Badge” disabled persons’ parking bay on the north-east side of Waterloo Place, adjacent to No. 116 Pall Mall, with a shared-use parking bay;

(g) replace a shared-use parking bay on the north-east side of Waterloo Place, adjacent to No. 116 Pall Mall, with a “Blue Badge” disabled persons’ parking bay;

(h) extend the “at any time” loading restrictions in Pall Mall, at its junction with Waterloo Place, outside the entrance to the Royal Opera Arcade and No. 8 (36.2 metres), No. 9 (5 metres), and No. 116 Pall Mall (2.2 metres);

(i) extend the double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions in Waterloo Place, north-west of its junction with Pall Mall:

(i) by 5.4 metres on the south-west side, adjacent to No. 9 Pall Mall – the motorcycle parking place outside No. 17 would be relocated north-westward by 4.4 metres and shortened by 1.3 metres; and

(ii) by 7.7 metres on the north-east side, outside No. 6 Waterloo Place, replacing the pay-by-phone parking bay; and

(j) extend the double yellow line “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions in Waterloo Place, south-east of its junction with Pall Mall:

(i) by 6.1 metres on the south-west side, replacing two shared-use parking bays adjacent to No. 107 Pall Mall; and

(ii) by 6.2 metres on the north-east side, replacing two shared-use parking bays adjacent to No. 116 Pall Mall.

3. The proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order at http://westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). 5. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
