Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 18 July 2024 has made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of the Orders, which were proposed in August 2022, will be as follows:- BELSIZE LANE – revocation of an existing 'dedicated disabled' person’s parking place outside No. 9 Belsize Lane, and conversion of the kerbside to residents' parking;

HIGHGATE ROAD - relocation of: (i) an existing 'dockless cycle hire' parking place outside No. 72 Highgate Road south-eastward by 6 metres; (ii) an existing set of on-carriageway cycle stands in the vicinity to the south-eastern end of the aforementioned 'dockless cycle hire 'parking place; and (iii) a paid-for parking place (16 metres in length) north-westward to occupy the space vacated by these changes;

LADY SOMERSET ROAD: introduction of '7 am to 7 pm, Monday to Saturday' waiting and loading restrictions on both sides of the road at its junction with Highgate Road.

Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 19 July 2024, and of other documents relating to the Orders may be obtained by contacting traffic.orders@camden.gov.uk or may be inspected in person by appointment only at 5 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG, between the hours of 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays excluding bank and public holidays (please contact traffic.orders@camden.gov.uk to arrange an appointment).

Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
