THE BRENT (PARKING PLACES) (ZONE W) (NO. 3) ORDER 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent on 15th July 2024, having given further consideration to the proposals (as advertised in the notice of proposals dated 11th January 2024) to designate two free personalised parking places on Mostyn Avenue, adj. Nos. 33 to 35 Wembley Hill Road, HA9 8AS, made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, the Parking Acts of 1986 and 1989 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effect of the 'Free Permit Parking Places' Order will be to designate two free personalised parking places on Mostyn Avenue, adj. Nos. 33 to 35 Wembley Hill Road, HA9 8AS.

3. The general effect of the 'Parking Places’ Order will be to reduce in length the existing parking places in Mostyn Avenue following the installation of personalised disabled persons parking places as mentioned in paragraph 2 above.

4. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 29th July 2024, of maps of the relevant areas and of the above-mentioned Orders of 2008 and 2019 (and of any Orders which have amended those Orders) can be requested via email during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

5. Copies of the Orders may be purchased from the address mentioned in paragraph 4 above.

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to any of the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which any of the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
