NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, proposes to make: The Ealing (Electric Scooter & Cycle Hire Parking Places) (No .1 Borough Wide) (No. 1, 2024) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*; The Ealing (Parking Places) (Telephone Parking) (Hanwell Station -Zone H1) (No. 1, 2017) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; The Ealing (Hanwell Station -Zone H2) (Residents Parking Places) (No. 1, 2017) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; The Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*, under sections 6, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. The general effect of the proposed Orders would be to permanently designate new e-scooter & cycle hire parking places that may be used at any time and without time limit by electric scooters and cycle hire bicycles, that are part of the trial and provided for hire by companies authorised by and under such conditions as stipulated by Transport for London, on lengths of the roads mentioned in paragraphs 2(a) and 2(b) to this Notice, by: -

(a) introducing new e-scooter & cycle hire parking places on the lengths of the following roads (without any other change): - Bordars Walk, W7 north-east side (opp Nos. 313 & 315 Bordars Walk); Bridge Avenue, W7 the east side (opp No. 92 Bridge Avenue); Brookbank Avenue, W7 south-east side (near its junction with Greenford Avenue); Campbell Road, W7 west side (opp No. 22 Campbell Road); Copley Close, W7 south-west side (south of Ipswich Court); Grove Avenue, W7 south side (opp No. 122 Grove Avenue); Half Acre Road, W7 west side (opp its junction with Laurel Gardens); High Lane, W7 south-west side (near its junction with Studland Road); Randolph Road, UB1 (footway parking all wheels) west side (near its junction with The Crescent);

(b) amending the parking restrictions and / or the parking provisions on lengths of the following roads mentioned;

(i) and contained within the following controlled parking zones [CPZ’s]: (A) Zone H2 – Grove Avenue, south-east side, (opp No. 122 Grove Road) part convert from permit holders parking place (B) Zone H1 – Half Acre Road, west side, (opp Laurel Gardens) part convert from permit holder parking place;

(ii) and not contained within CPZ’s convert the limited waiting parking place on: Bordars Walk, Southall, north-east side (opp No. 313 / 315 Bordars Walk), to accommodate the new e-scooter & cycle hire parking places;

(c) amend waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) on lengths of: Grove Road, W7.

3. The proposed Orders, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made, or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

4. Any objections or other representations about either of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing by e-mail to ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by post to Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference P055-2024 until the 11 September 2024. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should include the address of the author.
