TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (East Midlands) (No.16) Order 2024 " authorising the stopping up of two lengths of un-named footpath as lie off Brierly Road at Sutton in Ashfield, in the District of Ashfield. This is to enable development as permitted by Ashfield District Council, under reference V/2023/0699.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/EM/S247/5714). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Sutton-in Ashfield Library, Idlewells Shopping Centre, Forest St, Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17 1BP.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 11 September 2024.
