NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Aberdeenshire Council for consent to discharge up to 130 cubic metres per day of treated leachate from landfill site to Burn of Bennie at NGR No 6940 9750 from Crows Nest Landfill Site, Upper Lochton Road, Banchory AB31 4EQ.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, Greyhope House, Greyhope Road, Torry, Aberdeen AB1 9RD not later than 8 March 2005 quoting reference WPC/N/2296.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address.
