POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

In accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 4 to the above Regulations, Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for a Permit under regulation 7 of the Regulations by Inveresk Research International Limited in respect of activities being carried out namely incineration in an installation at Elphinstone Research Centre, Tranent, Edinburgh EH33 2NE.

The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

The application may be inspected, free of charge, at SEPA, Clearwater House, Heriot Watt Research Park, Avenue North, Riccarton, Edinburgh EH14 4AP during normal office hours. Please quote Reference No: PPC/A/1003159. Alternatively, the application may be viewed at www.sepa.org.uk

Written representation concerning this application may be made to the SEPA at the above address, or sent to e-mail address ppc.applications@separ.org.uk and if received within 28 days of this Notice, will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations made by any person will be entered in a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so entered. Where such a request is made there will be included in the register a statement indicating that representations have been made which has been the subject of such a request.
