NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge up to 105.4 m3 per day of treated sewage effluent to the Terregles Burn at NGR NX 9326 7701 from Terregles Waste Water Treatment Works, Terregles, Dumfries.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, Glasgow G74 5PP, not later than 7 March 2006, quoting reference WPC/W/73384.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the above SEPA office during normal business hours, and by prior arrangement at the local SEPA office at Rivers House, Irongray Road, Dumfries (tel 01387 720502).
