NATIONAL PARKS AND ACCESS TO THE COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1949 (AS AMENDED)
WILDLIFE & COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 19 (4) of the above 1949 Act that by The Rum National Nature Reserve Declaration 2010 dated Sixteenth day of February Two Thousand and Ten it was declared by Scottish Natural Heritage that the area of ground extending to ten thousand eight hundred and thirty nine decimal two hectares (10839.2) or thereby on The Isle of Rum, Inverness-shire and in the local authority area of Highland Council is managed as a Nature Reserve under the provisions of the above Acts with effect from the Tenth day of March, Two Thousand and Ten.
With effect from the same date, the Rhum Nature Reserve Declaration 1957 dated 4 April 1957 was superseded and withdrawn.
Certified Copies of the Declaration with plans annexed have been deposited for public inspection free of charge as undernoted and may be inspected for a period of one month following the Tenth day of March Two Thousand and Ten.
