The Hillingdon (Parking Places) (Eastcote) Order

The Hillingdon (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Consolidation) (Amendment No.   ) Order 1998

Hillingdon Council gives notice that it intends to make these Orders under sections 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, the Road Traffic Regulation (Parking) Act 1986, the Parking Act 1989 and the Road Traffic Act 1991, and all other enabling powers.   The effect of which will be to provide parking places between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Monday to Saturday inclusive any such day not being Christmas Day or a Bank Holiday as set out in Schedules 1 to 6 to this Notice, and to prohibit the waiting by vehicles in lengths of streets specified in Schedule 7 to this Notice.     The charge is 20 pence for 20 minutes.     Business Permits — £175 per annum.   A copy of the proposed Orders and plans indicating the location and effect of the Order and of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours within 21 days from the date of this Notice at Eastcote Library and Level 3 Reception, Civic Centre, Uxbridge, Middlesex.   Further information may be obtained by telephoning Parking Services, telephone number Uxbridge (01895) 277207.   If you wish to object to the proposed Order please write within 21 days of the date of this notice, stating grounds for objection to Local Services, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 1UW, quoting reference 4W/07.
