The Hart (Off-Street Parking Places) (Amendment) (No. 1) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Hart District Council, subject to the approval of the Hampshire County Council and the Chief Officer of Police, and in exercise of its powers under sections 32 and 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, propose to make an Order making the following amendments to the Hart (Off-Street Park Places) Order 1997:   (a) creating an area for short-stay parking in the High Street, Hartley Wintney Car Park;   (b) prohibiting return within two hours to the above proposed short-stay area and to the short-stay area in the Church Road, Fleet Car Park;   (c) prohibiting the use of season tickets by drivers using the proposed short-stay area in the High Street, Hartley Wintney Car Park and the short-stay area in the Church Road, Fleet Car Park;   (d) revoking the power to impose an excess charge when a vehicle using any of the Council’s Car Parks fail to display a current excise licence disk.   A copy of the draft Order may be seen at the Reception Counter, Civic Offices, Harlington Way, Fleet, Hampshire, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. If anyone wishes to object to the Order, the objection, with the grounds for making it, should be made in writing to the undersigned at the above address not later than 13th March 1998. C. C.
