TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act, which authorises the stopping-up of highway land at the Rusty Cutter, Bedhampton Hill Road, Bedhampton, Havant, in the County of Hampshire. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the developmnt described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried in accordance with the planning permission granted to Whitbread Plc by Havant Borough Council, on 12th February 1998, under Ref. 97/50850/8. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected, at all reasonable hours, during the 28 days commencing on 3rd April 1998, at the Planning and Development Department, Civic Offices, Havant, Hampshire PO9 2AX, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Government Office for the South East, Head of Transport West (quoting Ref. GOSE/029/001/HAMP/008) at the address below. During the above-mentioned period of 28 days anyone may object to the making of the Order by writing to the Secretary of State, quoting Ref. GOSE/029/001/HAMP/008, and addressing their objection to the Head of Transport West, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4GA. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection may be communicated to the applicant and other people who may be affected by it. J.
