LONDON BOROUGH OF HACKNEY
The Hackney (Off-Street Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney, on 23rd April 1998, propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 35 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, sections 66, 69, 70 to 74, 76 and 77 of the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended by the Road Traffic Act 1991 (Amendment of section 76(3) ) Order 1995, and all the other enabling powers, hereby make the following Order.
  The general effect of the proposed Order is to create a new Order which will amend charges and regulate off-street parking at the Provost Street, Bentley Road, Wilmer Place, Gillett Street, Amhurst Road, Reading Lane, and St. John’s Memorial Gardens Car Parks with the following effect:

  The hours of operation will be 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays with the exception of Bank Holidays. The charge for parking in the Provost Street car park is:

0-1 hour 80p
1-2 hours £1.60
2-3 hours £2.40
3-4 hours £3.20
More than 4 hours £5.00
Season Tickets are:
Weekly £25 
Monthly £75 
Quarterly £210
Annual £780

  The charge for parking in the Bentley Road, Wilmer Place, Gillett Street, Amhurst Road, Reading Lane and St. John’s Memorial Gardens Car Park is:
0-1 hour 50p
1-2 hours £1.00
More than 2 hours £3.00
Season Tickets are:
Monthly £30 
Quarterly £90 
Annual £350

  Copies of the proposed Order, a map indicating the effect and location of the Order, the existing Orders and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, in the reception area, Directorate of Environmental Services, London Borough of Hackney, Eagle House, 161 City Road, London EC1V 1NR, from a period of 28 days from the date this notice is published.
  Any person who wishes to object or make any other representation in relation to the proposed Order must do so in writing, specifying the grounds for the objection, to the Director of Regulatory Services, London Borough of Hackney, Eagle House, 161 City Road, London EC1V 1NR, within 28 days from the date this notice is published.
