THE W M MILLER & CO (GLOSSOP) LTD PENSION AND LIFE ASSURANCE SCHEME(formerly known as The Mentor Limited Staff Pension Scheme, The W M Miller & Co. Ltd. Staff Pension Scheme and The W M Miller & Co Ltd. 1974 Pension and Life Assurance Scheme) (“The Scheme”) Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that the Trustees of the Scheme are winding-up the Scheme. Any former employees of: Elveshape Ltd., W M Miller & Co. (Glossop) Limited, Mentor (Glossop) Ltd., W M Miller & Co. Limited, Mentor Limited, Mentor Holdings Limited, Hollas Garments Limited, Fortwell Limited, Gardner (UK) Limited, W M Miller & Co. (Derry) Limited, Mentor (Derry) Limited, McArthur Beattie & Co. Limited, Vernon Booth & Co. Ltd., Steel & Glover Ltd., Steel & Glover (Taunton) Ltd., Steel & Glover (Belfast) Ltd. and Young & Rochester Ltd. who believe that they were or should have been Members of the Scheme and who are not receiving a pension from the Scheme or who have not received announcements from the Independent Trustee of the Scheme (Masons Trustees Limited) are required to write to Mrs. C. Fawke, Assistant Company Secretary, Masons Trustees Limited, 100 Barbirolli Square, Manchester M2 3SS, before 10th April 2000 to make a claim for benefits under the Scheme. Claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth, the period during which they worked for the above-named Companies and any documents supporting their claim. In addition, if any person or persons have any other claims against or interest in the Scheme, they are requested to write to Mrs. Fawke at the above address setting out particulars of such a claim in writing before 10th April 2000. After 10th April 2000 the Trustees may distribute the assets of the Scheme amongst the persons entitled thereto having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have prior notice and will not, as regards the assets so distributed, be liable to any person of whose claim they do not have notice.
