DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE

Notice is hereby given, in pursuance of section 19 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949, and section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the East Dartmoor Woods and Heaths National Nature Reserve No. 2 Declaration 2000, made on 3rd February 2000, the Nature Conservancy Council for England declared that the land containing 0.237 hectares or thereabouts situated in the Parish of Bovey Tracy, in the county of Devon, and shown on the plan attached to the said Declaration (which land was included in the East Dartmoor Woods and Heaths No. 1 Declaration 1998, made by The Nature Conservancy Council for England, on 15th July 1998), has ceased to be managed as a nature reserve.
Certified copies of the East Dartmoor Woods and Heaths National Nature Reserve No. 2 Declaration 2000, have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of Devon County Council, the Dartmoor National Park Authority and at the offices of the Nature Conservancy Council for England at Okehampton.
