NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PROPOSALS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
CITY OF WESTMINSTER UNITARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Westminster City Council have prepared proposals for the replacement of the above plan. If, and when, these proposals are adopted they will form the development plan for the area of the City of Westminster. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the plan are available, free of charge, for public inspection at libraries throughout Westminster and at the Planning Desk, One Stop Services, 62 Victoria Street, London SW1E 6QP, Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; One Stop Services, 313 Harrow Road, London W.9, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and One Stop Services, 91-93 Church Street, London N.W.8, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals should be sent in writing to Barry Smith (Policy Manager—Local Planning), Policy & Project Development Group, Department of Planning and Transportation, Westminster City Council, City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London SW1E 6QP, before Friday, 23rd February 2001. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending Friday, 23rd February 2001, will have the right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing. Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals If no objections to the plan are received during the period given for making objections Westminster City Council intend to adopt the plan on the expiry of that period.
