Notice is hereby given in pursuance of section 19 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 that by the Hulme Quarry National Nature Reserve No 1 Declaration 2002 made on 18 April 2002, English Nature declared that the land containing 40.83 hectares or thereabouts situated in the City of Stoke-on-Trent and in the Parish of Caverswall & Werrington in the County of Staffordshire and shown in grey on the plan attached to the said Declaration is being held by the City of Stoke-on-Trent, a body approved by the Council, and managed as a Nature Reserve. Certified copies of the Hulme Quarry National Nature Reserve No 1 Declaration 2002 have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of Stoke City Council, Civic Centre, Glebe Street, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire; Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, Stockwell Street, Leek, Staffordshire ST13 6HQ and at the offices of English Nature at Attingham Park, Shrewsbury, Shropshire SY4 4TW and English Nature, Northminster House, Peterborough PE1 1UA.
