DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE
PARISHES OF HUTTON ROOF AND BURTON-IN-KENDAL, COUNTY OF CUMBRIA

Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the Hutton Roof National Nature Reserve No 1 Declaration 2006, made on 24 February 2006, English Nature declared that the land having a total area of 113.72 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the parishes of Hutton Roof and Burton-in-Kendal in the county of Cumbria and shown single hatched and shaded yellow on the map attached to the said Declaration, is being held by the Cumbria Wildlife Trust, a body approved by English Nature, and managed as a nature reserve.
Certified copies of the Hutton Roof National Nature Reserve No 1 Declaration 2006 have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of Cumbria County Council, South Lakeland District Council and at the offices of English Nature at Juniper House, Kendal, and Northminster House, Peterborough.
