Notice of application to vary licences to abstract water

Take notice that Lords Ground Limited, of Lords Ground Farm, Swaffham Prior Fen, Cambridge CB5 0LQ, are applying to the Environment Agency to vary the following licences:
  1. Licence serial number 6/33/34/37/5 to abstract water from the River Cam not exceeding 31,822 cubic metres per year, 1,591.7 cubic metres per day and 136.38 cubic metres per hour, at National Grid Reference TL 525 679 in the parish of Swaffham Prior, East Cambridgeshire district, in the county of Cambridge.
  (a) The variation is to add additional land and include for abstraction points from drains and dykes contiguous to the land at Highfen Farm; National Grid Reference TL 536 681, at Whiteway Drove; National Grid Reference TL 550 657, Swaffham Prior, and at Split Drove; National Grid Reference TL 554 675, Reach, and at Burwell Fen Farm; National Grid Reference TL 561 686, Burwell, all in the district of East Cambridgeshire and within the Swaffham Internal Drainage District.
  The water is for spray irrigation purposes on all land identified within the licence with an extended period of time between 1st March and 31st October and no increase in licensed quantities.
  2. Licence serial number 6/33/34/S/257 to abstract water from the River Cam and drains in the Swaffham Internal Drainage District not exceeding 182,000 cubic metres per year, 9,100 cubic metres per day and 380 cubic metres per hour at National Grid References TL 530 683 and TL 522 673 and within identified areas of land in the parishes of Swaffham Prior and Swaffham Bulbeck, East Cambridgeshire district, in the county of Cambridge.
  (b) The variation is to add additional land and include for abstraction points from drains and dykes contiguous to the land at Burwell Fen Farm; National Grid Reference TL 561 686, within the Swaffham Internal Drainage District and Burwell parish, East Cambridgeshire district.
  The water is for spray irrigation purposes on all land identified within the licence with an extended period of time between 1st March and 31st October each year and no increase in licensed quantities.
  3. Licence serial number 6/33/34/IS/258 to abstract water from the River Cam not exceeding 320,000 cubic metres per year, 4,550 cubic metres per day and 190 cubic metres per hour at National Grid Reference TL 522 673, to fill a winter storage reservoir and for subsequent reabstraction from drains in the Swaffham Internal Drainage District, in the parishes of Swaffham Prior and Swaffham Bulbeck, East Cambridgeshire district, in the county of Cambridge.
  (c) The variation is to add additional land and include for abstraction points from drains and dykes contiguous to the land at Burwell Fen Farm; National Grid Reference TL 561 686, within the Swaffham Internal Drainage District and Burwell parish, East Cambridgeshire district.
  The water is for spray irrigation purposes on all land identified within the licence with an extended period of time between 1st March and 31st October each year and no increase in licensed quantities.
  A copy of the application and any map, plan or other document submitted may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the Lords Ground Farm Office, Swaffham Prior Fen, Cambridge CB5 0LQ, between 8th January and 5th February 1998.
  Any person who wishes to make representation about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period.
