There are four types of customer accounts for The Gazette. If you're unsure about which account best suits your
needs, or need any further assistance, please contact us.
Account to place a deceased estates notice
Please note: solicitors or chartered accountants placing deceased estates notices should instead create an account as an authorised notice placer.
You can create an account to place a deceased estates notice if you are an executor of a will or a personal representative who is responsible for managing someone's estate.
Placing this notice:
- demonstrates that enough effort has been made to find creditors
- protects you from being personally responsible for money owed to any unidentified creditors
Account to purchase from The Gazette Shop
You can create an account to purchase personalised commemorative editions from The Gazette Shop, including:
- Personal parchments
- Certificate of records
- World War One special editions
Account for a researcher
You can create your researcher account for free and:
- save searches when looking through The Gazette's archives
- create bespoke Gazette editions
