Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Potton Developments Limited, of Eltisley Road, Great Gransden, Sandy, Bedfordshire, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from, River terrace gravels at National Grid References TL 1725 5745 and TL 1686 5718 at Wyboston Lakes, Wyboston, Bedfordshire.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 29,529 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for spray irrigation for Golf Course and amenity landscaping areas.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Howard House, 17 Church Street, St. Neots, between 16th January 1998 and 16th February 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglia Region, Central Area, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period.
