TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping Up of Highways (County of West Sussex) (No. 6) Order 1998”, authorising the stopping-up of an area of highway at Parkside, to the rear of The Martlets, Crawley, in the County of West Sussex.   Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Head of Transport (East), Government Office for the South East, First Floor, Bridge House, Guildford GU1 4GA (quoting reference GOSE/029/001/CRAW/006). It may also be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Crawley Borough Council, Town Hall, The Boulevard, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 1UZ.   Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the power of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any Regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 15th April 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
