Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990

Notice is hereby given that Oadby and Wigston Borough Council, pursuant to section 69 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, duly cancels the designation of the South Wigston (Bassett Ward South) Conservation Area as previously published by notice to this effect dated 2nd November 1989. The purpose of this cancellation is to extend the area of the former Bassett Ward South Conservation Area to a new area covered by the designation of the South Wigston Conservation Area, notification of which appears concurrent with this notice.
