Notice of Adoption of Proposals for a Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that on 18th June 1998, Lichfield District Council adopted these plan proposals with modifications. The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for Lichfield District. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at the following locations: Planning Services Unit, Lichfield District Council, District Council House, Frog Lane, Lichfield between the hours of 8.45 a.m. and 5.15 p.m., Mondays to Fridays; Armitage Local Office, Millmoor Avenue, Armitage between the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m., on Mondays, Tuedays, Thursdays and Fridays; Burntwood Local Office, Lambourne House, Bridge Cross Road, Burntwood between the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m., on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and between the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m., on Thursdays; Fazeley Local Office, Mill Lane, Fazeley between the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m., on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and Burntwood Library, Lichfield Library, Shenstone Library and Staffordshire County Council Mobile Library during normal operating hours.   The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may within 6 weeks from 18th June 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
