APPEALS UNDER THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981: SECTION 28F(1)

Two separate Appeals under section 28F(1) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, as amended by the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000, against the refusal of consents by English Nature on 26 November 2004, relating to land, notified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) at Ickornshaw Moor, South Pennine Moors SSSI. Notice is hereby given that an Inspector, appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, will hold hearings into these two appeals against the refusal of consents by English Nature for the grazing of sheep on South Pennine Moors SSSI, which forms part of the South Pennine Moors Special Protection Area (SPA) and Special Area of Conservation (SAC). The hearings will commence at 10.00 am and 2.30 pm respectively, on Tuesday 13 September 2005, at the Council Chamber, Keighley Town Council, Town Hall, Bow Street, Keighley, West Yorkshire BD21 3PA. Interested persons may attend the hearings.
