The Queen has been pleased to approve that Colonel Michael Philip Kenneth Beatty CBE TD DL be appointed the Vice Lord-Lieutenant for Staffordshire, to act as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during his absence from the area, sickness or other inability to act.

The appointment takes effect from 26 May 2007.
