THE WILDLIFE & NATURAL ENVIRONMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2011 (COMMENCEMENT NO. 2) AMENDMENT (NO. 2) ORDER 2012

Notice is hereby given under section 26(5) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (“the 1981 Act”) that the Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 43(1) and (2)(a) of the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 and all other powers enabling them to do so, have made the following Order: The Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Amendment (No. 2) Order 2012.

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Amendment (No. 2) Order 2012) and comes into force on 22nd November 2012.

Amendment of Commencement Order No. 2 Order

2.  – (1) Article 2 (appointed days) of the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2011 is amended as follows.

(2) After paragraph (3) insert —

“(3A) 22nd November 2012 is the day appointed for the coming into force of —

(a)  section 13(3) of the 2011 Act so far it inserts section 11A(4) and (9) into the 1981 Act; and

(b)  section 13(5) of the 2011 Act.”.

(3) In paragraph (4), for “1st January 2013” substitute “1st April 2013”.
